I ordered the patterned paint roller to add a soft, cottage feel to our sunroom without putting in extraordinary effort. I was honestly prepared to paint over the walls if this didn’t turn out as desired. Had I followed the directions and painted over the walls with a flat paint prior to rolling the pattern, my results likely would’ve turned out more uniform. Keeping that in mind, the pressure used when rolling has a huge impact on the result.I wasn’t going for perfection, but a “shabby chic” feel and I think it turned out great! I used a small jar of chalky paint from the home improvement store and the lid from a plastic tub to load paint onto the foam roller. After rolling, I hand-painted the pattern of berries to help blend the lighter and darker rows. I think my photos show how there’s some variation, but overall the walls look pretty nice! This is a great product!

I absolutely love this roller ! I’ve used it multiple times and it is the easiest to clean. It does take a a few hours for the water all to drain out of every grove so hanging tio dry is better than trying to use it too quickly . It’s just aka fun to use and have had many compliments. I check to see if the exact quality of this roller will have others to add to my collection.

I was unable to return this item. So, I'm stuck with a useless roller that didn't even come with the pattern sleeve. Cheaply packaged - especially for the price - and weirdly confusing. Even though I was unable to use it, I'm sure that the results would have been mixed based on the elements that I did receive.

This provides a very pretty pattern and an alternative to wallpaper. I used a tone on tone which worked out well. It was subtle that way. Just use flat paint or it slides all over.

This roller works great! I have used it for a local production, needing to create a wallpaper look for some theater scenery. The play is a dark comedy, but the happy little woodland creatures (from the Dawn roller) really add a nice ironic flare. Easy to use, even coating results, and clean finish-- Highly recommended!

don't try doing a ceiling with it not a good experence probably wouldn't buy it again

NOT easy to use. Way too expensive.
