These are great whiskey stones. They do give off a taste the first few times I have used them. Yes I did wash them first. Very good size and beautiful wooden holder. They are a very good gift or perfect for personal use. I do wish they kept colder for a little longer but I don’t think that might be the difference between stainless steel and stone.

If you like to make your drink fancy, this is a perfectly fine addition. I followed the instructions, but the stones did not keep the drink as cold as I thought they should have. However, it is a very cool conversation piece.

These stones are great for keeping your drink cold without ice diluting your drink.

Gifted to my husband. He used them in his bourbon and he said they kept it nice and chilled.

Bought as a gift for my mom's whiskey-loving husband. He hadn't even known something like this existed. They're nice quality and stay cold for quite a while. Keep your drink of choice cold without watering it down. And a bonus - they look nice in your freezer.

They are much smaller than I expected based on the picture, but they work. Fun to cool you whiskey and not too expensive.
