The amount is great for the price hopefully it will do what I need it to do.

product is working as it should. Don't listen to the people about the mold problems. They didn't sterilize the substrate properly or are working in dirty conditions.

Great stuff for growing homegrown mushrooms or making some sawdust spawn for outdoor use. A little on the expensive side, but there is not really any competition in that regard. I can not complain, so far, so good.

Said items can be bought separately and for cheaper elsewhere. Get 10 times the size and you can combine the two by getting some bbq pellets and soy pellets at a feed store. 40 lbs for 50 bucks. Wish I had thought of that prior to this purchase. Don’t get me wrong, the oyster spawn is loving this, but growth is the same using the other mix (making 2 fruiting blocks with the same LC syringe for testing).

Using this 100% to colonize with tramestes versicolor (turkey tail)liquid culture in a unmodified 32oz (1qt) jar (pc @15psi for 1.5hrs), day 8 recorded 50% colonization in the jar (2-4weeks for full colonization)
