The entire Priest series has been phenomenal so far and this latest edition is no different.Sierra Simone is so dedicated to her work and conviction of story telling that the research that goes into her books is immense.Whilst I appreciate that some things are written with creative licence, I still feel like I finish her books with far more knowledge than when I started.Also, as someone who has suffered from depression, the descriptions and the way it’s talked about here blew me away. (aaaand maybe made me cry a little bit)This book focuses on Brother Patrick (Aiden Bell) and his ex Elijah Iverson.It follows his journey to a life wholly devoted to God and the love he can never quite forget.It’s a discovery of faith, love and of himself.Go read it 😍“Even my tears feel empty, pushed out of my eyes by biology and little else, because what I’m feeling is so beyond the scope of tears, so beyond what my body can hold for me. Only God can hold it.”

This book was really nice! Couldn’t help but root for Aiden and Elijah. Aidan’s not-so-delicate balance between acting on his love for Elijah and focusing on his spiritual journey was understandable but also borderline hilarious!His recall of that night and ‘it’ was really heavy but also helpful to those who would want to sort of understand what goes through someone’s mind when they have those thoughts or act on them.Overall, a really good book. If I could give this book 10 stars I would.Reading this felt like standing in a field with my head tipped back and my eye closed as the sun shone down on me.Dramatic? maybe but I swear that’s how it made me feel.This book is so different from the others in this series, it’s a form of poetry with its flowery prose and the way it enlightened me. It respected religion in a way that i’ve never read before. I’ve always had my reservations about the church and this book shone the light in the beauty of it, the core of what it was originally supposed to be. It made me want to travel, to see the world and it made me want to feel at peace, and for a moment it gave me that.

Hard to find the words for this book, if I’m being honest. It was genuinely one of the best things that I have ever read. The prose, the story, the characters and their development - all of it was absolutely gorgeous. It tears your heart to shreds and then slowly pieces it back together, bit by bit. If soulmates exist, you'll find the very definition of them in this book.

Saint has been sitting on my kindle for a while now so I decided it was time to give it a to. It’s the third full length novel in Sierra Simone’s Priest series and follows Aiden Bell.Aiden, now Brother Patrick, has committed his life to becoming a monk. As his story unfolds we learn of the reasons why he’s decided to take this path. Elijah Iverson, the man he left behind when he decided to become a monk, suddenly reappears in his life and the instant connection between them is back in full force. This is packed with intensity of feeling, chemistry and angst.As with the other books in the series the intricacy of detail and description employed by the author speaks to the research and knowledge of the themes and storyline. I always take my time with Sierra’s books for this reason so I’m absorbing every detail. Although each book so far has a slightly different angle they all culminate in the same ending and while it’s not that I wouldn’t want an HEA for the characters, it is a bit samey by the end of book three. Regardless of that, I’d still recommend this one.The books in this series can be read as stand alone novels however as always I’d recommend reading in order.

A book that gets to the very heart of what love really is - when it means holding on and when it means letting go. There is a deep spiritual understanding in Sierra Simone’s writing which is clearer than ever in this book and will speak to anyone who has ever struggled with faith, battled with mental health or pondered the real nature of love. Utterly awesome!

This has to be one of the best stories i have ever read. The emotional turmoil, the requited & at times unrequited love, and the sheer pain of everything are perfectly described. Added to the brilliant descriptive writting of the road trip, you could smell tye lavender in france, and feel the rain in Ireland. Stunning stunning work

This was a epic love story that spand over more than 5 years, it was a slow burn read but i totally devoured this book.This was so different to what i have read from this author before. Loved these two broken souls and what happened to keep them apart for so long, and reading this i didn't even know if they was going to make it together, this was a very emotional touching love story that will have you glued to your kindle through out. 4 stars

I loved this book! Among the three this is my favorite!! She talks about Depression in a very understanding and beautiful way! I loved Aiden's journey!!

“I love you like everything”.. This book was something that I have never read before. I started reading Sierra Simone for the smut and the good stories but Saint gave me so much more.This book touched me so much on a deeper level I cant even put the words out.Aiden Bell struggles with depression and after one night of living with “it” he decides to become a Monk. Five years later his ex boyfriend shows up at the monastery and makes Aiden rethink if this life is for him. He feels so happy being with a person but should he leave the space that saved his life?This book touches so well on how difficult and how realistic it is to struggle with mental health. Sierra Simone did an amazing job explaining it that it pulled so many emotions out of me and made me realize that I am not alone. So many times I re-read quotes because I couldn’t believe that how I have been feeling has been written out in a book.I would like to thank Sierra Simone for creating such an amazing story that people can relate to. I will never stop recommending this book as one of the best depictions of mental health that I have read. The plot, the quotes, the spice, the emotions that this book has generated deserves nothing but a 5/5 stars!

Ci ho messo un pò a leggerlo. In alcuni punti il tema trattato è pesante e fa riflettere. Anche se non viene mai nominata in forma esplicita la depressione con risvolti suicidi è sempre presente, come una triste amica che non ti lascia ma ti aspetta per uscire nei momenti di sconforto.Il libro complessivamente è bello, intenso, coinvolgente.

The books were not bent, nor had any damages. It was very well delivered. Packaging was amazing too! And the books are so so so hot and I’m just in love with the series ! Must read !
