Love that this is designed for use on kids! Have used this thermometer several times to verify temperatures for my child. When a child teeths, is in flu season or simply doesn't feel well, it's nice to verify what is going on inside. Love that it is simple to use especially if your child squirms constantly like mine. Need something fairly fast in it's analysis and yet also fairly accurate in its results. Also great for adults, too! This has been perfect for our needs!

After using this for a while, I realized its very point specific and more or less useless to take a temperature of a human. I've used it more for checking the heat of inanimate objects than checking for a fever. You may as well by an infrared thermometer from Harbor Freight when they're ten bucks. I'd give it one star, but it does actually measure temperature - it's just not good for people.If I hadn't burned the box as soon as I got it I would have sent it back.

I was so disappointed about this product,once my baby's temperature was 101.5,this product still shows 98.6!!i use this to check everybody's temperature,almost show the same degree,98.6!!we retured it.

This thermometer isn't consistent. I use it in ever place on my Daughters forehead and it's never consistent. My daughter has had a high fever all weekend and we depended on this thermometer and when I checked her temp, I checked it 5x in a row. All 5x it was a different temp according to this thermometer that ranged from 97-105. If I could return it I would and not recommend anyone to purchase it. You would think that they would make quality products considering we use these for our kids. I was thinking all through the night her temp was around 101-102 but instead it was increasing and I didn't know bc the thermometer is so INCONSISTENT.

Very Inconsistent results! I scan it multiple times across my baby's forehead and sometimes it reads 98 then 103 then 100. I have no idea which one is right. And sometimes it reads normal, 98.something when he's burning up and I know he has a fever! So dissapointed in this thermometer. Would have been great if it actually worked. I keep watching videos on how to use it to see if I'm doing something wrong but I don't think I am!

Forget about those thermometers where you have to drag them across your child's forehead 15 times to get a reading you're never really confident is accurate.You point the thermometer an inch or so away from the forehead, and then touch it to the forehead. It take the temp almost immediately. And consistently.I would highly recommend it.

I like the convenience of this thermometer, however I'm not totally convinced that it is accurate. The instructions are not terribly detailed. I can get a different temperature every time I use it whether I wait 10 seconds or 10 minutes.

WORKS GREAT! I don't ask much of a fever thermometer; just give me the temperature. I have tried many different kinds but, other than the old mercury-filled glass rod type, none works as well as this one. I did a lot of research before I bought it and I made the right purchase. Buy it!
