This desk is a like a kit. You put it together. It comes with instructions which we did not find difficult to follow. It was well packaged with great corner protectors and arrived with no shipping damage. I worried about the top being in more than one piece, butthe adjoining pieces do not interfere with aesthetics or functionality of the desk. We did an inventory of parts and pieces as was suggested. It took about 4 hours to assemble the filing cabinet and 3 hours to assemble the desk. I found this desk to be a good size for home use, functional and far more attractive than anything I could find locally. And the price is reasonable. Note that the filing drawer is small as is the drawer for pencils and supplies. Also, one cannot add a center drawer as the frame prevents that. I agonized over purchasing such a large item online. And I admit that sometimes negative reviews do influence me. But I'm happy with this purchase and do not hesitate to recommend it.

Absolute nightmare of a filing cabinet to put together, little deceiving of how small the cabinet is. Overall pleased with my purchase though and the desk at least is really worth it

Desk set comes in pieces but if you take your time and follow their instructions , it will take one person about 3-4 hours to assemble with hand tools only. The wood is particle board , so must use hand tools and carefully else you may damage board. Instructions are very good and highly recommend you read them carefully. Once together , the desk is very study to my surprise with metal framing and looks very nice . The other small piece is good but don’t move around too much on carpet. Overall it’s a nice value and once built don’t move it much … will not hold up to bumps, shifts and pressure that well. If you build in place where it will be it’s perfect for a low cost solution. Recommend for DIY person .

The one star is not for the desk itself, it’s for the mislabeling of all of the parts for the cabinet. The desk went together nicely and all parts were included. I like it and it seems sturdy.The file cabinet that came in a separate box was a nightmare. At first I thought there were 5 missing pieces, but it turned out that all of the parts and hardware were mislabeled. Also, there were pieces included that weren’t in the manual or list of parts. It would appear that they changed the parts but didn’t send an updated manual. My brother (engineer type) was able to “wing” it and put it together, but most people would not have been able to. Now that it’s together, the cabinet itself is nice. Again, the one star isn’t for the desk and cabinet but for the mislabeling of parts and instruction manual.

This TribalSigns desk and cabinet is beautiful and functional. the instructions are clear, the pieces are clearly labeled. There were parts i'd never used before (the pins), trusted the instructions and it went together in about 4 hour for the desk and 3 for the cabinet. i'm 73 and female and the desk took about 4 hours to assemble, cabinet a little over 3 hours. The desk is beautiful with plenty of room (63") to spread out. I could not be more pleased with this purchase

Love this desk! It’s big! I needed it to take up space in a larger reception area. I’ve moved to a smaller space where it doesn’t work the best, but I can’t seem to replace it. I love it!Accurate measurements & sturdy

Would be ok for the price of not for some issues. I ordered this desk and the received one delivery date and tracking. It was supposed to be 2 separate boxes for the whole L style desk. I received one box for the main desk and my order said delivered. I had to contact the seller to find out the other box was on another tracking number and delivery. Then I started to build box 1 with the main desk just to find the last piece for the undercounted shelf was broken. Without this piece the bottom shelf can’t hold any weight. I contacted the seller and they said they couldn’t get me a replacement piece. They offered me $51 dollar refund. I took the refund because the I didn’t want to go through the hassle of returning that big box. Not very impressed with the desk either. A lot of the holes did not line up correctly and there were some small chips in the pieces. The desk top has some gaps where the panels connect that are not that apparent in the pictures. Honestly if I had no issues then the desk would be pretty good for the price.
