I am 4'9 at124 lbs and I chose the medium.I read one of the reviews who was slightly taller but weighed in at a larger number who was happy with a small. I am shorter but I have a larger chest so a small would not have worked for me. The medium has a double zipper. When I zip both up, the coat then is snug on my chest.Its cute when both zippers are zipped but then again, I bought it for the many shiny stuff on it such as the double zipper, so I want to leave them visible. Its nice and supple feeling.This coat has a specific waist/hip style that it looks better on those who are fuller in the hip rather than a bean pole. With a bean pole body shape, the jacket hangs too loose in the open. With fuller hips, it sits nice and close giving the body a nicer curve. Now, I am not full at the hips however I do have a large round stomach on chicken legs so that is why the coat fits closer to my body. These styles of jackets normally come in odd measurements not suitable for petite women with large chests. But this one fit rather nicely. In most cases this style of jackets I have to wear a large to x-large and then the entire jacket is way off on my body shape and size. I think I will be happy with my new jacket. I will wear it to my next thrash metal concert.

Beautiful jacket well made just wash for me

Unfortunately this jacket didn't quite fit me well enough to keep it. At 5' 9" with broad shoulders and a 48" bust, the sleeves were great when my arms were at my sides, but when I stretched my arms directly out in front of me, as though I were driving, the armpits were tight, and the sleeves slid up my arms about 3" too short.It zipped up just fine with a little bit of room in the body. Otherwise the XL fit well. With a long torso the bottom edge of the jacket was just below my waist. So it didn't sit on my hips. So it game me the 'bell' appearance.All the zippers worked, and my husband loved it one me, but it just didn't fit my frame like I had hoped.The shoulders have light padding and the material is really nice. Overall the jacket is very well made and good looking. The only thing I noticed about the jacket that differed from the images was that the zipper was more of a chrome color, and was sharp to the touch if you accidentally slid your finger up it.If the jacket had fit me just a little bit better, I'd of kept it. I think the price is reasonable for the quality.

This is a really nice jacket. unfortunately, my wide shoulders made it too tight. Going up a size would only make it too baggy at the waist.

Okay I have been scoping this jacket for awhile and reading tons of reviews, and I am so glad I finally bought this jacket. The "leather" quality is way better than I expected. There was some reviewers that said you can't zip it up and you can zip it up pretty far actually but actually looks good the way it is there are actually two mechanisms for zipping in the picture you can see it just zipped up the center but there's another one that you can fold in and zip the zipper within a zipper if that makes sense to make it even tighter which is what I have to do. Taking the sizing into consideration is actually a little bit bigger than I expected I was skeptical but I went ahead and ordered the extra small and I have plenty of room in the waist area and definitely on the upper hips. Now my hips are not that wide to begin with I tend to carry some weight in my arms and a little bit of my tummy but I still had plenty of room I usually weigh between 135 and 140 and I'm 5'2" and the extra small had extra room, considering I'm going back on my diet tomorrow I may even return it and get the xxs. I wish it was a tad longer if it came down to the hips just a little more it would really accentuate the curves better. Sometimes you can't tell with leather items sometimes the pictures post the real version and you end up with some crappy plastic-looking knock-off but this is not the case here and I will tell you I am damn picky and if this looked like trash I would be telling everyone a totally different story right now the jacket is totally worth it and being a single mom working full-time and paying my way through a $90,000 nursing program I cannot justify even spending $60 unless it's totally worth it and this definitely was. The jacket is beautiful and sexy it's very flattering to any figure I would highly recommend this jacket if you're teetering on the edge of decision just go for it you won't regret it, it's bada$$! I'm telling you ladies you put this jacket on with some knee high leather boots and you are going to walk into any place like you own that bish.

I bought this for a cosplay outfit for one of my favorite book series just to see if it would work with the idea. It's a beautiful and well made jacket, but it's made for someone who is top heavy. For reference, I'm 5'6" and barely reach 108 lbs, my chest size is 34b. Everywhere but the chest, which was built for someone with at least 34d breasts, fits perfectly. I will eventually return this jacket since no one in my family matches or take it in to be tailored, not sure which one I want to deal with yet. One things for sure is I will not be trading in for a smaller size, since the jacket fit perfect everywhere else for the cosplay idea and I can't stand restrictive clothing. Hope this helps and as for the "fishy smell" some people were complaining about, I didn't smell anything. I was even so worry about it being there that when I took it out I smelled it first before looking at it (I can't stand funky smells)
