(The focus of the book seems to be more on reusing) Review: The book itself was lovely! . . . . if it hadn’t been crumpled all along the spine and all the inner windows hadn’t been previously opened. It was a gift for a friend and I don’t remember seeing that this was a previously owned book. I didn’t have time to make inquiries or exchange it. Disappointing.

I'm a preschool teacher, & one of our units of study during the year is on "trash & garbage". When we got this book from our local library last year, my co-workers joked that it sounded like things I say all year long to our kids. We frequently save bits of interesting trash & turn them into wonderful treasures. I recently was able to get a copy of this book for every kid in my class through Donors Choose (YAY!). If you're interested in talking to young children about ways to help take care of the earth, this is a perfect book to use. Highly recommend!

Read this to my kindergarten class, they loved it :) A very useful book to introduce the concept of up-cycling and being eco-friendly to kids!
