This facial cleanser is clear and very gentle. It is coconut-oil based and has aloe--both ingredients I feel good about using on my skin. After using this on my face, it feels soft and clean. I find that one pump is more than enough to wash my face, neck and chest. I have experienced no irritation or breakouts since I started using this product. The ingredients are almost completely natural and mostly organic, and I feel safe using this on my face because it is made in the USA. I appreciate that the label discloses the sources of the ingredients.While the directions suggest using this face wash with just your fingers, I prefer a bit of exfoliation, so I have been using a soft washcloth. For even better exfoliation, a konjac sponge would work well in my opinion. The foaming for me is minimal, and there isn't much of a smell as no artificial scent is added, although I wouldn't have minded a mild coconut scent, which I expected from this being coconut-oil based.Discounted sample provided for review in compliance with Amazon's TOS and FTC regulations.
