PRlME Day Stock Liquidation Safety Metal Furniture/TV Straps - Earthquake Anti-Tip Anchors for Flat TV, Extra Strong Hold Child proofing

I live in an earthquake zone, so I bought these straps to secure a large dining room cabinet to the wall. Overall the straps seem very sturdy. The metal hardware is one of the reasons I went with these over other similar straps, and it seems secure and strong. I wouldn't want to trust heavy pieces of furniture to plastic components. The buckles and straps together are a little bit bulky, so if you have something that sits mostly flush against a wall now, it may not be able to do so with these straps behind it. Since these are adjustable, I tried to figure out what the shortest and longest possible lengths were before buying them, but these measurements weren't listed. So I took some photos and attached them here. At their shortest length, they're about 8". At their longest, about 38.5".The only problem I had with these is that the included wood-screws are weak. I snapped two of them during the installation - one while screwing into a stud, the other in the cabinet itself. I was using a power drill, but the torque was set very low to avoid stripping the wood. I also did pre-drill holes, as these are not self-tapping screws. I've never seen this happen before, and I've done a lot of home improvement and amateur woodworking projects, so I was really surprised. I don't think the screws will fail if the cabinet gets tipped over, but this was still disappointing. Don't bother with the wood-screws that are included - use something else instead.

The straps are a great method to secure furniture, tv, etc to the wall, allowing plenty of adjustment and attachment holes to ensure hitting solid backing (wall studs, furniture structural beams). These straps are average, 1 of about 8 had a defective buckle. As others noted, DO NOT USE THE INCLUDED SCREWS, they are garbage and will either break during installation or if stressed (defeating the entire purpose of the strap!!!).

These straps are HIGH QUALITY material considering the lower price point compared to similar products. They arrived quickly and were exactly what I was looking for. Very impressed so far and considering ordering a few more!

This seems like a value for money product when you compare price vs quantity. But this won't fit most recent TV's from Samsung and Sony. The mounting bracket won't let you attach to any mounting threads. Bummer. This one is going back. Stay away if you have Samsung or Sony.

Was able to secure out flat screen TV that sits on a TV Stand to the wall for safety. Plenty of hardware included for different screw holes. Had this secured for a few months.

Great buy, the best part was that the screws actually fit my tv and I didn't have to go to the hardware store

Very easy to install, it came with a variety of screws for attachment. Buckles are metal and sturdy. Overall very happy.
