My friends persuaded me to get a slow cooker and having looked at a number of different makes and models, I decided to buy the Morphy Richards Easy Time 6.5 slow cooker as it has great features/functions which appealed to me - being able to sear using the cooking pot, having the timer which automatically sets the temperature, lightweight, glass lid to see inside plus good value for money. I have now used it for the first time, cooking a beef stew using a recipe found online. My research found that it would be best to sear meat first and also to cook onions and garlic on the hob which enhances the flavour - I did this using the very large cooking pot which was so light and easy to use. Then I transferred the pot to the cooker and added the rest of the ingredients, switched it to the time I wanted, pressed the middle knob to activate it - and that was it! So easy! We all had a very tasty meal (photos attached), the meat was tender but not overcooked, the sauce was yummy - and best of all, it was so easy!! I used a wooden spoon when stirring so as not to scratch the inside of the pot (as it says in the instructions) and washed the lid and pot by hand with soapy water. The pot is non-stick and washes and drys perfectly. I highly recommend this slow cooker and can’t wait to use it again!

Best slow cooker I've bought. Love how it adjust the temperature settings automatically for the hours cook time you choose. Although you can override it and choose your own. So far I have just used the automatic settings. Nice soft potatoes and cuts of meat everytime so far. I'm really glad I decided to purchase this Morphy Richards slow cooker. I like the dial buttons and like how they light up and it counts down the hours left with each white light indicator going down. I definitely would but again. Great seller. Happy with purchase. Good quality great value for money looks good easy to use cooks really well

I have a large, digital slow cooker with a ceramic pot that is so heavy and controls that are a bit of a nightmare until you're used to them. This Morphy Richards slow cooker is so much easier, and lightweight. Controls are just a simple, manual timer with times set at hourly and half hourly intervals. Just turn the dial to the proper time. There's also a high, low, medium and keep warm setting. If you make a mistake just turn to off and then re-set. Cooks quickly, even on low, eight skinless/boneless chicken fillets with a ton of veg and gravy - done in four hours, and it's easy to keep clean - but not in the dishwasher. Arrives with plenty of instructions and a useful recipes book. More than happy with this little cutie.

Great slow cooker which is well built, looks good and has the necessary timers which allow the food to be cooked then as a keep hot function for keeping the food warm once finished cooking. Looks good and very functional. Great price for an item that does a lot for a working family.

Love this slow cooker. Big enough for a family of four or for a single person who is batch cooking and feeezing the food. I just throw everything in, set the time and leave it to do its thing.
