Small up to 16 Oz Coffee Canister Jar - Stainless Steel Container with Measuring Scoop Spoon – Whole Beans or Grounds Keeper Holder - Kitchen Storage Vault Tin

I wanted to love this item, but the lid does NOT make an airtight seal. Actually it's quite loose and I could foresee someone grabbing the can by the lid and coffee spilling everywhere. I loved the spoon though. I had to return it.UPDATE: I was contacted by the company who apologized for the defective product. They sent me a new canister and I can report that the lid is snug fitting and perfect! I'm impressed by their customer service.

The media could not be loaded.  The container is absolutely cute. Its smaller than advertised. Does not fit 16 oz or 1 lbs of ground coffee. It did fit my 10oz Cafe Bustelo vacuum sealed bag though. The biggest turn down is that this container IS NOT airtight at all. The lid is so loose it doent have any grip as you see on the video. Either my canister is defective or its just worthless. Its stylish but useless. Not worth the $20. I might as well continue keeping my coffee in the metal container its sold from. If its defective please send me a replacement if not i will need a full refund.

The first canister I was sent had about a 1 inch section of the silicone seal around the top of the canister that was a solid white color and less pliant. It is as though it was exposed to high heat in that one spot. The canister wasn't airtight, so i exchanged it for another. The second canister had a 2 inch section, and again NOT airtight. After trying twice, I kept neither product and I will not attempt ordering a third time.

Don’t normally write reviews but.... this thing is not airtight. Do not use if traveling with ground coffee as the ground find their way into the grooves between lid and can and make a mess when you open. Also, the lid doesn’t fit right and is not a screw on lid. I had the smarts to tape the lid shut before putting in my bag. Good thing I did otherwise the lid would have come off during travel and my clothes littered with grounds.Will return for something with a screw on lid or better seal.

Easy to hold, easy to remove the top-- yet, in spite of that. doesn't come right off and cause a disaster if you are careless enough to pick it up by the lid. Seems to have a good seal. Comes with a nice scoop. The only problem is that there is usually just a tad too much coffee in a 12-oz bag to fit in this container. Either the reference to 16 oz in the blurb must be to beans, not ground coffee, or it's an error. The scoop has to be stored head-up if you keep it inside the container, which can be messy, the fuller it is.I bought it to reduce the clutter footprint on the counter, and it serves that purpose and looks nice.

I ordered this as a substitute for the empty Illy and Lavazza tins I've been using for years to store other ground coffee. Although this new container arrived protected in a plastic bag, within a cardboard box, it had small dent marks on the top lid, and inside the container. The top also doesn't lock on very tightly (as it should for retaining coffee ground freshness); if you lift the container by the lid, the container falls open. Additionally, the scoop is about 1/4 inch too long to fit inside the container, and even then you have to bury it completely in the grounds to shove the spoon to the very bottom of the container. The scoop should fit inside - it should be convenient. This is a cheaply made container in addition to being poorly designed. Absolutely not worth $23.

It was a bit smaller than I expected but that wasn't that big a deal. If I bought a larger bag of coffee, I just let a little bit in the bag until I had room. My issue was the gasket broke within two weeks of purchase, thereby drastically reducing the effectiveness of the tin. I haven't been able to create a suitable replacement.Update--- I was contacted online by the company and they replaced the container. Highly commendable. Thank you Svetlana.

The first one I got didn't seal tightly, and I said so in a review. Within a day, I was contacted by email by customer service, and they had a replacement sent to me immediately. The replacement worked fine, and I even bought a second canister. They are smaller than some of the others on Amazon, which is actually good if you have arthritis or other hand issues. The concave shape and smaller size allow me to grip it with my sore hands, and I don't think it's good to store too much coffee in a canister anyway, so the size is perfect.

When I first opened the package I was disappointed that the metal seemed thin, and the top did not screw down. But what I found was that this is absolutely the best coffee storage solution I have ever had, and I am a tough customer. The tapered middle makes it easy to hold, the top lifts off like a dream without fiddling, but seals airtight due to a silicone gasket (and they include a second one as well), and the included scoop is just right to dig deep but also give you control when pouring into my espresso basket. I don’t write many reviews, but I wanted to express my absolute delight with this product, now in use for months and still making me happy every morning.

Yet to be tested out, but out of the box this product seems very good quality and well made. I appreciate the scoop that comes with it.

Very sleek, well made & modern. I love the weight of the spoon & the taping for easier grip. If different sizes were available, I would buy larger as well.

It's ok but way too overpriced! one thing I like is the spoon that comes along.

This is a great, durable product that hasn't caused me any problems thus far. The accompanying scoop is also a handy addition when it comes to measuring the right quantity of coffee grounds needed for that perfect cup of morning coffee.
