Bicycle Headset Threadless 1 1/8"

Description

This is a standard size 1 1/8" headset. It works with a fork that has a threadless steering tube like our 42" chopper fork 513205. Note: A headset consists of the hardware to mount your fork onto your bicycle frame. Ways to tell if you need a 1 1/8" are: measure the outside diameter of your forks steering tube, the tube that will slip up into your frame, it will measure 1 1/8"; another way is the take the cups off of your bicycle frame and measure the inner diameter of the head tube, the front end of the frame that your fork will slip up into, it will measure about 1 5/16". The way you know you need a "threadless headset is if you do not see any threading (like a screw threads) on the fork's steering tube.
