Certified Nurse Educator (CNE®/CNE®n) Review

This review was great overall. The questions were harder than the CNE exam so it’s a phenomenal tool for helping you feel prepared day of. The digital content was great. Some of the other reviewers are correct - there are misspellings, grammar errors, and a few of the practice questions are worded in a convoluted way but overall if you use this as a tool it will help you in your success.

I used this book and passed the exam on the first attempt. Highly recommended

This was great easy read. I felt like I was truly able to understand and comprehend everything they wanted to get across. I did take off a star as there were some typos throughout the book and some of the questions miskeyed. I did get this item when it was on sale so I thought it was very much work the value for the quality. It came with a free online access for 3 months which was nice to study through the app. I would get it again. I haven't taken the CNE just yet, so I can't account for pass rate.

Within the first few chapters I found multiple spelling errors and more than one practice question was keyed incorrectly. As it is supposed to be a prep book for educators, those errors made me lose faith in the product quickly. The content is applicable, but the presentation of the information became too frustrating to continue.

This book was just published and supposed to have the most up-to-date information for the current CNE test plan. However, as you can see it has the old Bloom's taxonomy information in it. Additionally, I felt it has a lot of extraneous information that can be very distracting. I recommend staying with the Caputi Review and Billings Teaching in Nursing books. They helped me more than all the resourses I used. Good luck.
