Works well but super annoying to open and close

These are awesome!!One of the last things people think about having until they need them are good ties to hold wires together, packages closed, and general organization. My top desk drawer is always a mess with wires everywhere and not only do I have to spend time digging to find the right wires, I also have to then untangle the wires! Its a huge mess. Now I can easily organize them and store them! I can even color code them depending on the type of wire I need (HDMI, Microusb, Iphone, ect.)!These wires are very malleable, I even played with twisting one around for around 15 minutes and it showed no signs of breaking or having any problems whatever. The product is well made with nice smooth rubber that feels nice and a good thickness to help prevent things from moving out of them. I used to try and keep my leftover bread ties, but they would be useless after 3 uses and just looked so ugly. Now I can reuse these as many times as I can! They also look great! While these twist ties can serve the same purpose as rubber bands and Velcro strips, where they are most uniquely useful is for creating makeshift hooks.If, for example you are routing a cord from one end of your desk to another, and it needs to neatly move along a path that is aligned with desk, these twist ties enable you to do this in a way that other types of "binding strips" can do.Another use I have found is hanging my headphones that I frequently use, something not readily accessible.There are so many more conventional uses for these twist ties that it boggles the mind. It's funny that I'm buying these, since I hate the flimsy bread wires, and usually toss them and roll the bag instead (which my wife just looves). The thing is, these are awesome for wrapping cables behind the tv or computer. They're also very helpful in coiling the cables for power tools. They are a bit shorter than what you may think they are, but they are great for most regular uses.I received this item at discount for review.
