A former coworker who had a gastric bypass said these were a lifesaver for her. So I initially bought a variety pack because I have recently had a gastric bypass also. I took one in to my nutritionist and she reviewed the ingredients and nutrition information and gave them her stamp of approval. She doesn’t recommend frequent use, but knowing I’m a nurse who doesn’t often get breaks, this is something nutritious that I can keep in my pocket and finish in small increments when I have a moment.I know some reviewers like the flavor and texture and some don’t. I’m one who likes it. I’m not big on super sweet snacks and this is tart. It keeps me satisfied if I follow my nutritionist instructions and don’t drink for at least 30 minutes after consuming.Addendum: SmashPack ruined this by changing the formula. I loved this and had three boxes delivered monthly through subscribe and save. Now it tastes and feels like I’m drinking a watery yogurt. Don’t fix what ain’t broke smashpack. I guess I’ll just stick with Fuel for Fire instead.

I've tried protein smoothies, but stopped after awhile because it was so much work to make them. I've tried protein bars, but they are inevitably too sweet for my taste. I've tried prepackaged protein meal replacements, but they just don't taste good. Enter these SmashPacks. I received one as a sample in one of the monthly "health kits" I get and now I'm hooked! They each have 14g of protein, which is what I'm seeking, as well as other good stuff. And importantly, they taste great! Love them!! They are now my go-to snack when I need a protein boost or need to eat something so I don't start snacking on something that's not so good for me. Thank you SmashPack!!

I absolutely love this product! I came across smashpacks somehow on amazon, and decided to give it a try and it’s awesome!I’ve previously tried the protein shakes and different things, but never quite found something I really liked and wanted to keep up with. Also I am a workaholic and making a smoothie every morning is not always an option for a gogogo job. With your product I have kept up with it for several weeks now and am 9 pounds down!All that have tried different protein shakes and supplements know what I’m talking about when I say they usually have that weird taste and it’s just hard to get into them because they really don’t taste great. These have NO weird protein test! I guarantee it! Mixed berry is def my favorite and orange peach second favorite! I’ve had My coworkers try them and all have been surprised by how great they taste!If you’re looking to change your diet but just can’t find something you actually like the taste of I recommend trying these! I still have my morning cup of coffee and then I eat a Smashpack once I’m in my office. It’s so filling by lunch you’re hungry but it’s a different kind of hunger because your body isn’t craving the carbs because you’ve had a great source of protein. At night we all know we get a craving for a snack, my guilty pleasure is ice cream or gelato. Instead now what I do is pop open a smashpack (you can even squeeze it into a little bowl and freeze it or cool it down for a bit) it’s just like having your favorite gelato or fruity ice cream treat, and your snack cravings are gone!!LOVE IT! Give this product a try I tell you it is worth it!

My Dietitian Approves! I have temporal arteris, which requires high doses of Prednisone for treatment. Unfortunately, prednisone greatly increase blood sugar, which then requires medication to control that. It is important to take the prednisone and diabetes medication with a meal at certain times. However, because I have to see several specialists this can get tricky. Smash packs are the perfect solution. They store at room temperature until opened, and are fast and easy to consume. I can fit one in my purse easily.

I ordered the Mixed Berry product last month and loved it ... BUT when I came back to reorder, I found they have changed the recipe going from .5 gram of saturated fat all the way up to 4.5 grams of saturated fat.I get it, I know MCT oil and ketogenic diets are all the rage now, but one of the reasons I liked this product so much was the fact that it was low in saturated fat (0.5 g) and a good source of monounsaturated fat (4 g). Now according to the new label it has 4.5 grams of fat total, ALL from saturated fat.As someone who has to closely monitor my cholesterol and LDL levels (due to high risk factors), this new recipe simply will not work for me.5 stars for the previous recipe, but, sadly, I won't be ordering again unless they reduce their saturated fats.

As a gastric bypass RNY patient for over 17 years now, a single busy mom on the go... I’ve struggled getting in enough protein. The pouches are AWESOME to grab on the go, satisfying thickness, and they don’t make me get sick! I order a pack a week hoping the viriatey pack comes available soon

The smoothie packs were shipped quickly and nicely packed. The packages are big -- about twice the size of what I was expecting. I plan to use them when I go on all-day bicycle rides, as a quick snack every couple of hours. The large size does not fit as well in bike jersey pockets as the smaller Clif squeeze packages. On the other hand, I don't need to carry as many packets, and the caps on these packets close and seal well after a package is opened.The reason I only give these SmashPack smoothies 3 stars is because I strongly dislike the taste. For my personal tastes, these smoothies are a little too sweet, and have a strong after-taste (probably from the high concentration of whey). Taste is a individual thing, and others might think that these smoothies taste fine.
