So happy I bought it!
I am not an experience photographer. In fact, the purchase of this camera marks the beginning of my amateur photography career. I did some research and actually found a couple of lists of the best DSLR cameras for beginner photographers and this seemed to be everyone's favorite - a good camera at a reasonable price. I wanted something that I could learn on and didn't want to spend a fortune. So when I saw that this was refurbished and I could save some money, I went for it. I appreciated that the refurbished goods were endorsed by Amazon. The camera is GREAT! It's been really fun and easy to operate and I've taken some beautiful shots. I'm excited to be learning and really happy I made this decision!

Awesome Camera
I love this camera! Only thing that bothers me is that it's listed to have wifi capabilities. Although that may be true, in order to use it, you must buy an additional $50 piece to make it work. I was under the impression that it was already installed in the camera, but it's not. Other than that, this camera is perfect for "beginners", as people say.

and this is the perfect starting camera
I am a beginner photographer, and this is the perfect starting camera! There are enough features that I can play around with and learn more about photography, but the automatic settings are still good enough to take great photos effortlessly. The 18x55 lens is a great everyday lens, and I may get a telephoto lens once I understand the basics more. I would recommend this to anyone who is looking to step up from their phone camera or a compact camera. The refurbished price is a great deal, and the warranty is worth the price!

Best camera I've ever owned.
This camera gets a 5/5 for me. incredible image quality, brilliant auto focus in both photo and video mode, and it's pretty easy to use. I highly recommend it! Don't believe me? It made a burn pile in my back yard look beautiful! All photos below were taken on my Nikon D3300.

Not impressed with quality
I wasn’t impressed with this camera for the price. I tried to make it work for a long time but truth is it sucks and settings are mediocre.

Great, but missing a few things.
I was extremely happy with my purchase that I had gotten in the beginning. It has taken so many beautiful photos. However, I am rating this an okay due to the fact that it has a smudge and something that is in the corner of the view finder. It also came with a rip-off version of the strap. I am very, very disappointed in that fact because I expected the Nikon strap to come with the camera, and I wouldn't have to order one of them from a different place :/

Perfect beginner camera!
Great entry level DSLR!! This was the first camera I bought! It is extremely light weight and pretty small, so it isn't uncomfortable to carry at all! It's 5fps and 24.2 Mp is great for it's price! Highly recommend purchasing this as your first camera! Very easy to use and operate.
