90% of people that purchase a phone immediately stick it in a case and rarely see the back. My husband was the same way. However, his cheap case started to break the backing of his phone. It caused chips to appear around the corners and the pen insert. I wanted this for myself and was hoping to trade my black back for this one. He didn't go for it. Too bad for me.The texture is leathery and you'd like it. The colors are a little faded, but I suspect this is not a design flaw and intentional. I feel like it's supposed to be rustic (there's a specific word for it but it escapes me for now). Picture is a little brighter than the actual product but you don't miss much.To sum up, I would recommend it to others with this phone and I would buy it again; for myself this time.

My father loves it so I do too. It's not a smooth finish but if you have a clear case over it the American Flag really comes through nice and vibrant and the rough finish isn't any issue anyway. It isn't uncomfortable rough or anything. It actually adds grippy texture to the phone which is kinda nice.

What a great way to show your patriotism. Fits Samsung perfectly and looks really nice. Easy on, easy off. Packaged very well. Will order again for friends.

Looks good and is not a decal like some reviews said. It is thin and not near as thik as the OEM but otherwise a good Note 4 battery cover.

Fits perfectly. Didn't cost much, and it seems sturdy.

Lost the original back to the phone somehow and so had to buy a replacement one. I give it 5 stars cause not only does it have the American Flag design on it, the design is textured giving depth and feel to every star and stripe. and the cover fits very good.
