SO FAR/SO GOOD
I luv my refrigerator & I don't want to have to replace it, but the freezer isn't as cold as it should be. We're hoping this sealant will plug any leaks we may have. Fingers crossed.

Actually works
I’m a little shocked but I think this stuff actually works. I’m not an AC tech but I have used it on several different units and the refrigerant seems to be holding on all of them.

Generally Effective at Stemming Refrigerant Leaks in Small Sealed Systems
I refurbish small sealed-system refrigeration appliances; e.g., mini-fridges, wine and beverage coolers, kegerators, ice machines. These small refrigeration appliances are rather notorious for failing to cool after just a few years of use; and I typically collect such from folks grateful to be rid of a bulky and seemingly useless cube. I then attempt to repair the things.Small sealed-system refrigeration appliances are not terribly complicated devices. In most cases I discover a small leak (usually in a soldered joint) and I apply the appropriate repair. After a few weeks of evaluation, I then sell the thing for a nice profit.Instances where I determine a leak is inaccessible or otherwise indeterminate, I inject a shot (or two) of Leak Saver Small System Refrigerant Leak Sealer followed by the usual refrigerant recharge procedure; I then evaluate the operation of the appliance for a month or so.I don't have success with the Leak Saver product 'every' time; but I’ve had enough success using the product in my very specific application that I am content with the brand, and satisfied with its efficacy to do what it claims.

It works
I have tried leak sealers packaged with R134a cans and found they don't work for very long.My 12 year old Bosch refregerator started to deteriorate over a month and freezer would be at 40F. I installed a Supco BPV31 bullet valve on the compressor fill line and recharged with 7.4 oz R143a (measured with before and after using a postage scale) to suction pressure on 2 pounds. Recommended charge is 7.76oz on R134a so was nearly empty. After a month and half it was back to 24F in the freezer.I added the 1 ton Leak saver and recharged to 2 pound pressure on suction line which took 6.3 oz.Now 6 months later freezer is at set point of 0F.
