Possible issue with connection
Fun idea. I am replacing the one I had, but this one would not work in my computer (or other devices)... it couldn't be recognized. I figured out that the USB drive is set too deep into the thumb and thus couldn't make the proper connection when inserted into the computer USB port (the rubber thumb bumped into the computer before the USB port made proper contact). It may have been just the one I received. I was able to get it to work only by using a USB extension cable. I was given a refund and told to order another.

Give someone the finger
A friend loaned me the 8GB version of this, and my cat stole it from my desk and hid it somewhere. So I bought this as a replacement. Novel, and it works, but it takes up a lot of room around the USB port.

Hilarious and practical!
Hilarious purchase. I teach high school and when they walk in and see a thumb sticking out of my laptop they freak out! It looks and feels very lifelike. It also feels sturdy, not like it will fall apart within a few months. I haven't had any issues with using it with either my personal or school laptop either.

Neat looking driving, however this thing is SLOW. I know 2.0 is slow, but this thing is slower than 2.0 slow. It is "waiting for your wife to do her hair" slow.

Doesn't Work
Stopped Working , only a couple weeks after buying. Won't show when connected to a computer.

Not as bad as some think!
I have had mine for about two years now and have never had any trouble using it.It is not as slow as some would have you believe.To transfer movies files or pictures in no time. A 1.GB Movie may take @ 30 seconds or longer depending if other processes are running.So it always best to use this while nothing else is running. Some of Y'all may have ordered the other one that looks a littl like this but is a totally different USB and manufacturer! which may be the problem with speed! I always get the Model not the other because this in is bulky any way.I have had to trim a little on each side if i need to use a USB port next to it,only cut off less than 3/8ths of an inch on either side and it fits next to most other USBs. :)I have used this to install Ubuntu,Windows 7&10 on a HDD and it converts an ,ISO on it in less tan 5 minutes depending on the size of the file! :P So it is definitely not slow,but I have an older one from 2012 or so.It may be slower now yet it states High speed and that is what I got!Everyone who sees it and is PC savvy,gets a laugh because you don't see a Thumb as your Thumb Drive Unless you have one of these. lolLove it and have used it for storage,back ups and installing many an OS.It has corrupted on occasion but it's easy to fix and format,even lets you reset it to the way it came.I always format any USB now especially one that comes from China!Going to order more for my PC buddies that love things like this! ;)
