I do a lot of BBQs in the summer. I was excited to try these mittens on my Beer-Butt-Chicken. Everything worked wonderfully for the mittens except one thing and it is a big one for me. The gloves are made to fit a man's hands not my small ones. I couldn't keep them on my hands. If you have large hands I would recommend this product but I will not buy another pair.

After using the Kitchen Perfection Silicone Smoker Oven Gloves for a couple of weeks, I have had multiple opportunities to test them. First and foremost, I am pleased with how well they allow me to move my fingers while wearing them. The mobility ensures a better grip, which adds to the safety. As for the heat rating, which lists 500 degrees as the ceiling for safety, I have had no issues. I cooked a Detroit pizza at 550 degrees and easily used the gloves to move the pan from the oven to a trivet--a short duration at high heat. By contrast, I held onto something I cooked in the air fryer at 400 degrees for a long time and only felt mild warmth. I feel comfortable these oven gloves can handle whatever I am doing in the kitchen or on the grill.

These gloves are more of a rubber texture probably silicone, they do resist the heat and you can reach in and fiddle with or turn the meat around but the knobs that are predominant on the glove make it somewhat more slippery than it needs to be and a little less graspable for food items, they tend to accumulate while using a lot of the rub or sauces due to the nabi texture, I probably would not buy this brand again, there are some other gloves out there that are good to 1400 plus degrees Fahrenheit and a much more tactile feel to them I don't know the cleanability of the ones that I'm just mentioning but they certainly can't be any worse then the product I bought.

I got these after my OG Ove Glove had lived its final days... I was super excited. Now I knew they were not just silicone but insulated, so the fingers would be a little bulky. That was ok. I use them when I cook bacon on the stovetop and my glass lid gets too hot to lift, or just don’t want bacon grease popping all over my arm. They do wonderful, As for the oven, they do fine getting things out at a normal temp (425 degrees or lower). Anything above 450 degrees you can feel the warmth through the gloves, which is little disheartening. They are super easy to clean. I received 2 little hooks with them, that make storage super easy! They definitely have a great grip!!

I don’t write many reviews, but these gloves are deserving. First, I am very satisfied with the protection against burns these gloves afford. The cotton lining adds that extra bit of padding needed in addition to the plain silicone of other gloves I have tried. Next, I love that these gloves come in a pair. Many times, it takes both hands to lift a heavier item from the oven. The only negative thing I have to say is that the gloves are too large to fit most people, which make them rather unwieldy if you are trying to use your thumbs to hold onto something. I haven’t tried or seen any other oven gloves that would be better, so I would buy these again.

I bought these as I bake my own bread and pizzas. They arrived quickly and were well packaged. I have large hands and fit well, with on one drawback. For my large sausage fingers the gloves fit well in the width and depth but the fingers are a bit to... how can I put it? shallow. In other words if the finger slots were a little deeper, they would have been a perfect fit. That being said, at 425 degrees, I didn't feel any heat through them, which makes taking loaf pans a pleasure. They are well crafted and have bumps to I would surmise to make things easier to grip. The fact that they come with a little adhesive hook is a cute addition. Would definitely buy them again.

I haven't written reviews for very many products but I love these so much, I wanted others to know how great they are. First, they are very heat resistant--yes at higher temps, you do feel a little of the heat but definitely not what you would feel just using a potholder or something. Second, they are very easy to clean-I just put them on, lather them up like you would your hands, rinse like you would your hands, and either dry them like you would your hands or hang them up to dry, easy-peasy. Third, they are very flexible so you can use them for maneuvering smaller food around or large pans, whatever you need. Also, I use them as trivets sometimes. I have used them when I had to put my hands in ice water (like when you use an ice bath to cool veggies or shrimp) and it has protected my hands from getting too cold (this is very painful for someone who is older with arthritis).To address some of the negative reviews, they are one size only and they are a little big on my hands and a little tight on my husband's hands. But for the price, and all the good features, I can live with it. Not many things are 100% perfect. They can get a little warm sometimes, but in my experience it hasn't been dangerous or very uncomfortable. I don't need these for 1400 degrees, just around the kitchen.

I own 2 other “heat resistant silicone gloves”. I bought these because the other just didn’t work and we’re not flexible enough to really be able to pick up food off the grill. These gloves work great! Your hands stay cool, extremely flexible (you can actually turn a chicken wing on the grill). I am happy with my purchase and would recommend them to a friend.
