These are good little motion lights with only one major drawback; albeit I overcame that problem.The battery compartment is oversized and the springs that hold the battery are not strong enough to hold the batteries into place.I stretched out the springs and packed the battery compartment with drier packs to hold the batteries in place. A redesign is in order for this little problem. If working around this isn't a problem, they are a good buy.

I'll update my review after I get the correct batteries....the description states "3 AAA batteries, not included"...not! After ordering 36 AAA batteries I have plenty for other things now. Write the correct description would ya!!! 3 AA Batteries!!!

This motion detector light works fantastically. It provided more than sufficient light over a narrow area. We use it to illuminate a portion of our stairs with out having to put the main hall way lights on. It works great and stays on for several seconds as advertised and then turns off. Great little light, great value and excellent quality. We are also very pleased with the seller. Prompt delivery and well packaged.

I ordered these battery operated lights due to the review of a friend, and just before my town was hit by Hurricane Matthew. Thankfully they came beforehand and were more than helpful when we lost power. I love the way the motion sensors work in a dark hallway, a bathroom, and a closet without a light fixture. I'll most likely be ordering more, and some for friends who also live on or near the coast.

Very cheaply made, not sturdy at all. Horrible flakey battery compartment, doubt it will survive change the batteries a few times.One of my three doesn't work-- rarely comes on, really just feels like junk. Returning.Great idea poorly made.

Once I figured out how to remove the mounting bracket & open the battery compartment I liked this product better. It activates well with motion although I thought the leds would be somewhat brighter.

I have never ordered an item where they included 3 of the same lights (that should give you a clue right there) and all 3 are f...........k up! NONE of them work. I wasted a good hour and a half trying different batteries, drilling holes in the wall, taking it apart thinking I did something wrong inside etc. So I go to #2 and try using one of their double velcro pieces and place it in a new part of the house....NADA..... So, now I call AMAZON and tell them that they don't work and of course Amazon does the right thing and issues me a credit. So, I figure for all my time and effort; I'll just send them the 2 broken ones back and keep the 3rd one for all the aggravation that the first 2 caused. BUT before I send them back the 2 broken lights, you know what they say about things running in THREES. Yep, you got it. #3....doesn't work either. I have to ask other Amazon shoppers this ?"Have you ever gotten three exact things and all 3 do not work?". It works for a second or two after you slam the batteries (which of course are mine) but no sensor lights working on all 3.

these little lights are wonderful! I installed them in my stairwell which has very little direct light and they work great! the only complaint is that one of the 3 doesn't work - but still happy with the other 2.
