These nylon hinges are small but strong. I will be using them on foam RC planes. These should provide very reliable picot points for all of the control surfaces. Great product. If you have small planes you should have these in your kit.

I use these for replacing live hinges in foam planes and they're well suited for the job, but some have burrs that must be sanded which can cause a hitch in your control surface movement.

I’ve always used these hinges because they’re very strong and they’re thin and easy to slip into place you can either glue them in or you can hand them in addition Just be careful like with any hinge not to get the glue on the hinge pin area and that holds true for every hinge

These are nice small lightweight RC plane hinges. Perfect for smaller eFlite UMX foam planes or any small RC airplane. I used them ion the wing instead of hinge tape on my UMX Timber X.

These installed great with micro fasteners or cyanoacrylate superglue. Bundles are reasonably priced and great for having backup inventory as spares.

I recently bought these to install in my Dynam PBY Catalina (rc airplane). They’re so cheap it’s hard to say no. The only issue I’ve encountered it that these tend to only want to bend in a direction and if they’re bent in the other direction you have to push past an area of resistance and a click will be heard. This is NOT because the hinge isn’t designed to go in two directions, BUT it is caused by a molding issue. In order to use, I scraped the excess plastic off of them that was left over from there molds, and presto! They worked beautifully. I understand many expect them to work perfect out of the box, but that unfortunately isn’t the case. However if you are willing to take the 30 seconds it takes to scrape the excess off, they’re soooo worth it.
