Nails were pulling out of my steel roofs after some hail. These ones are the only ones big enough to put in the old holes and stay put. I used some #12 earlier and they pulled out after the next couple of storms.

They don't seal

So, overall, these were a good product, but I bought others size #12 that had the oversize 5/8" washer. These have the smaller epdm washer commonly found locally. They work, but I was dissapointed, and wish that they had been labeled accordingly.

I had ordered the grey/silver finish, which was the cheapest option, but the heads ended up being black. I intend to paint my metal roof thankfully, but they were not what I was expecting. As far as function, they worked quite well and drilled into the roof easily and securely. Good price for the amount of screws I received.

My contractor used them for my metal roof and all went very well.
