Die Cast Voltron Black Lion The Defender of The Universe

Made in Taiwan Lionbot. I'm pretty sure the Taiwanese knockoffs are the only ones still in production right now. So if you need a new replacement, this is it. Sure, one could probably save some money overall by getting the whole set on an auction site, but if you don't need all 5 plus weapons, and don't want to pay that kind of money for unnecessary stuff, this is a perfect replacement. Decent quality paint and decals. Tight joints with solid feeling construction. Certainly not a mint Japanese original, but exactly what I needed to replace my old broken KO to put on display.

This toy was my favorite present from the early 80s, and now I have an affordable replacement lion that is just like the original. For everyone looking to have a complete die-cast Voltron again without over-spending, here is where I finally had my luck.

So, This toy seemed to have been taken apart and put back together. The only thing I can think is that one of the wings is very loss and maybe someone was trying to fix it. If it had not been for my kids wanting to play with it I would have sent it back. I have multiple voltron lions I let them play with but I was hoping this would have been in better condition so I could replace my broken black lion. The condition was NOT worth what I payed. I will not be buying from this seller again.

This product broke right after the return window closed. $60 for a toy to last a month is horrible. DO NOT BUY

Had this toy in the 80s as a kid. Love it!!! Quality is what I remember from being a kid.
