NOW Essential Oils, Lavender Oil, 16 Fl. Oz (Pack of 1)

I've been buying NOW lavender oil for many years. I always buy the 16 oz. bottle. It was always top quality. So, I had no second thoughts, despite some negative reviews, of purchasing it again. I used it two nights ago in a bath and it was clearly something completely different than what I has purchased in the past. The smell was horrible and my bath towel and pajamas are now reeking from the stench. I don't know what happened to this company - but be warned - STAY AWAY FROM THIS PRODUCT!

I keep my lavender in the fridge. Itchy horrid spider or insect bite? One drop and I forget about it. In fact, if Immust scratch, I wash my hands with soap and water, put this oil under my nails, and scratch away-and instead of the itch getting worse, it goes away. An infected hang nail? On drop and reduced by half each day. Pimple on my face? No pop it, just one drop and it is reduced by half next day. Does it smell like some pyramid scheme expensive stuff? It is not that fancy. But this stuff is my workhorse, my guard from the mosquito hoard! I love it.

I used the 4 oz lavender from this brand and liked it so I decided to get the 16 oz. Huge mistake, this smells totally different from the 4oz and now I have to figure out how to use it up. Would not buy again.

I really Love NOW oils. On My 4 th Lavender bottle. I do not like the new caps I can only hope they change them. I have eucalyptus,tea tree,lavender ,peppermint in the large bottles. I use the lavender every day in summer all over face and arms it keeps mosquitoes away. Smells great

Smells like something synthetically floral mixed with cooking oil, then allowed to go rancid. The people who couldn’t open the bottle were the lucky ones. Buyer beware.
