Excellent alternative to other options
These things were fairly easy to install. They do not work with all dimmers and you also need to tweak your dimmer settings on the switch during your install to get the full range. Super bright in full. Incredibly cheap compared to other options from HD and Lowe’s. Very sleek looking. Huge score. Lose the bulbs you won’t miss them.

Easy Retro Fit
We replaced 6” can lights with 75 watt flood lamps with these LEDs. The new lights are brighter, look better, put of almost no heat and work with the dimmer we had for the old cans. One of the best and easiest home improvement projects I’ve ever done.

Some helps and hints
These were the lowest light LED retrofits I could find for 6" - at 11 Watts and 2700 K. However, be advised that you will most likely want a dimmer switch because they are still way to bright for us. We retrofitted 26 lights in about 3 hours. I set up the dining room table with the family all applying the stick on gaskets in assembly line style. They can be a little bit of a pain. The easiest way seemed to be to put the gasket in place and then remove all the paper backing and carefully stick it around the outer perimeter of the trim. They stretch rather easily so it is no problem getting them all the way around the perimeter. However, you may end up with excess when you complete the circle. Takes a little to get the hang of it. We found the house had at least 3 different can types - so be prepared. Some had slots for the springs and some had brackets that stuck out a ways. Usually the bracket style cans had their brackets bent flat to allow the old trim to go in; had to bend them back into place. The ground wire has a closed circle type of connector. The easiest way to attach it, for most of our cans, was to use a pair of side-cutters (or dikes) to snip the very end of the circle and thus create a "U" shaped connector that we could slide under the wing nut used to adjust the depth of the can. When the can had accessible screws we simply removed the screw and reinserted with the ground wire attached. A four-gang switch box in the kitchen required 2 more dimmer switches. This made things very tight, along with the 12 gauge wire, and my trying to force it in caused the screw hole for the switch to strip out. Thankfully, you can get a little gizmo called a G-Clip here on Amazon. It clips on to the box and will hold the screw. Thankfully, since ripping out the box and rewiring (including knocking out part of the wall and re-drywalling and mudding) would have been quite a job. Just go real easy and try to position the wires the best you can - especially for older plastic boxes that seem to get brittle. I did break one of the lights and could not repair it. Tiny little black rings over little posts hold the whole thing together. The light hit the hardwood floor and the rings popped. Placing them back on did not hold - guess you could try to glue them but I just ordered a couple extra lights. Also, note that the springs can pop out from under the little tabs that hold them onto the fixture. You have to bend the trim ring a bit to get them back on -- easiest to do with 2 people. All in all I am happy with these lights. I hope to save money on the electric bill and also have better air sealing into the attic. I might re-visit each fixture and caulk around the trim ring just to be sure I have a nice air-tight seal. I only wish these LEDs came in a "warmer", dimmer, type of light.

Super easy to install, and very bright
Quality and brightness are very good, and they are super easy to install. I wish the bezel was just a bit larger in diameter (maybe just 1/4" so that it completely covered the ring left by the previous fixture. I am not looking forward to re-painting the ceiling... Overall the product is very good.

Easy Retrofit
You can use these simple retrofits for updating your lighting preferences and also seal against heat loss around those dated recessed lighting fixtures. I replaced my old school 5K bulbs with these 3K LEDs which are still plenty bright. Taking my time, I installed six in about 40 min. Make sure connections are tight and carefully bend the tensioning springs to attach the unit. Hardest part was maneuvering my ladder around our living room.

All 42 LED trims flicker irritatingly.
I bought 42 of these LED trims on Amazon for a new house, well in advance of the install time. They don't work and will have to be replaced. The vendor offers a 30 day return window, which was impossible to fit my installation and testing schedule into. I will not be using Amazon for off brand lighting like this again. Bad engineering. Dumping a poor product into the American market. Abusing trust.Specifically, the LED trims did not flicker until the new owner moved in. Now, after two weeks, when the refrigerator runs, or these or other LEDs are dimmed, they flicker badly. Even with dimmers removed they flicker. They were not engineered to be compatible with other electronics. Other buyers, beware!!

Easy to install, looks great.
Looks so much better than the cans with a bulb inside. Very bright and works well with dimmer.

Good Lights at a Fair Price
Nothing new to add to what's already been posted. They are bright so you may want a dimmer. Easy installation. Some reviewers have suggested pre-bending the wires. I found that unnecessary for my installations.

Awesome replacement lights
These are fantastic replacement lights. They are very easy to install. Look just like regular pot lights without the wiring. Quite happy with my purchase.

Easy to install
Don’t bother disconnecting the wire from the light prior to installation, simply screw the unit into the socket.Would also recommend bending the springs inward to release some of the tension before raising the light for final attachment.
