Great Start
Ms. Rhimes: Congrats. If I had known about your book, I'd purchased it sooner. Just learned about it today and was so excited that I read it in one sitting. You are such an outstanding and incredible women. There is so much anyone can learn from you and through your works. I agree with every positive word by reviewers. However, I must share my disappointment about your Memoir; Most importantly, I didn't feel the words as if they were coming from your voice, as a memoir should. Instead, it was written in the third person as if someone was interpreting your life for you. It would have been much more effective if you had written it in the first person. It appeared that you still had some fears of fully opening up on a personal level. Yet, it was very brave of you to share what you did. (You are much braver than I am- my novels were written as fiction- yet based on my life- in other words, I told the truth as a Lie).Although I couldn't feel the full impact of your transitions, I could identify with three main points that you shared: 1) Overcoming the fear of public speaking- (this I learned after years of teaching); 2) saying Yes to No (I had the opposite problem - I said Yes when I shouldn't, now I freely say no), and 3) letting go of the Ride of Die Friends. (a big burden removed when I did).In closing, once again congrats and thank you for sharing your story. Hopefully, this is just a start and there will be more to come. Best wishes and continuous success. Also wishing you wellness, peace, and happiness. Always, Taj

Don't waste your time with this one
Absolutely awful book. Its extremely narcissistic and unrelateable for those of us who are not celebrities. Don't waste your time with this one.
