CoffeeSock Cold Brew Coffee Model CB64 Organic Cotton Cloth Filter

Prior to discovering this ’sock’ for my cold brew I had tried other methods. These not only a make great coffee, but are so simple to use, & clean. I have 2 for 64oz mason jars and keep one brewing in the fridge while consuming the other. This way I always have fresh cold ‘cold brew ‘ on hand. Stays for a few days ( I’ve usually finished one container in 2-3 days.) the other is started as soon as the first is empty. Although I boil each sock once a month to remove oils, I do replace about every 6 months to keep the porosity. If acidity in coffee is an issue for you, this method will be a provide welcome choice. No electricity necessary, and if you prefer hot coffee just heat a cup when you want. No waste!!!

Finally an easy way to make my cold brew!! The clean up is quick. I am impressed with the smooth cafe quality taste of my coffee using this CoffeeSock. I wish I had purchased sooner. Careful to not overfill the sock though as the water will not penetrate properly resulting in a weak brew.

I started cold brewing my coffee about six months ago. I started with a 2-quart mason jar and a stainless steel sieve to hold the coffee grounds. The sieve developed rust within four months of use even though I hand-washed it in mild soap and thoroughly dried it after each use. My search on Amazon for a replacement filter led me to this product and I am so glad I found it. The sock fits perfectly in my 2-quart jar, is easy to fill with grounds, easy to close with the included ring, and most importantly, is easy to clean! I squeeze out as much liquid as I can before I shake the sock over the trash can to remove as much of the grounds as possible. Then, I simply run it under warm water, turning it inside out and back a few times to rinse it clean. I boil it about once a month to remove the oil build-up and so far it is holding up well. For the price, I would definitely purchase another one when/if this one wears out. If you are on the fence, just do it, you won't be sorry!

Had it for a better part of a year now and it's great. Filters beautifully and makes cold brewing easy and less messy. Highly recommended.
