Awesome reel. This thing feels and looks great. It’s as fast as advertised and feels great. It’s fast like a bait caster but you don’t have to worry about a bird’s nest with your line. It casts out great too. I paired this up for now with a 7’ MH GX2 Ugly Stick. The balance is great with my setup and it’s a great price for the performance you get.

I have a local pond that I do most of my fishing at, it's in my neighborhood, well stocked, monster largemouth all day. One of my reels I've had for over 10 years finally died beyond economical repair so I bought this reel and was very impressed. The retrieval speed is wickedly fast and the bearings are smoother than I have felt on my higher end reels. Just used it last night and landed a few bass, some large channel cats and some pan fish just to get a good feel for it. Worth every dime I paid. Great reel!

This is my 4th or 5th reel from Kast King and love all their reels. Was super excited for this fast reel for Crankbaits or just to get the fish out of cover quicker. Not sure if my reel is defective but almost have to screw top down as tight as I can before the drag even begins to work. Going to look more into it and make sure they built the drag with all parts

I wanted run reel for burning the most line through the water the fastest... everything on line said this had the highest gear ratio for that in freshwater reels. I've loved it. My only issue is it's size. I paired this with an ultralight rod because I'm in creeks in the mountains with fast moving water and burning lures through them for trout. So I keep my rods short. It's definitely out of balance using this reel with it, compared to the smaller reels I had been using and still use on my other ultralights for slower moving water. That said, though, that's a me problem for my application, and I'm still happy with it. If I had put this on a 7' rod for burning spinners, for instance, the balance would be right, it'd be super fast, and I'd have no issues.

My new favorite reel. Absoultly love the extremely fast retrieval. Comes nicely packaged with a very nice build diagram and future instruction for use, repair, and cleaning. Haven’t seen that with any of my other reels. Caught a 5.4lb snakehead already and handled it with ease. Highly recomend.
