This is the first time that I've written a review for Amazon--this product is that good! I had a buckwheat hull pillow for over 20 years and it served my cervical issues well. Several weeks ago, I noticed that it was taking me a long time to fall asleep at night, I'd wake up several times throughout the night with an unusually sore neck and just wasn't comfortable (I typically wake once to go to the bathroom) and I'd wake up in the morning with a very sore, tender neck, more sore than I'm used to. It dawned on me (finally) that I needed a new pillow. I was considering the "My Pillow" after I saw the commercials on TV, so I headed over here to read the reviews. I wasn't pleased with what I saw, so I kept scrolling until I saw the reviews for this one. I liked how I had "options"--several different heights to try--and I liked how no one noticed an odor to the pillow. The day it arrived, I noticed no odor and slept on it that night--I fell right to sleep and--get this--I didn't wake up AT ALL. Not at all. I have been getting up to go to the bathroom once in the middle of the night for my whole adult life (I'm 49) but I slept for seven straight hours and--even better--no neck pain! It's really true! I've had this pillow for a few weeks now and I continue to fall asleep quickly, sleep straight through the night, and have no more neck pain (other than my usual neck pain that I've been seeing a chiropractor for regularly). I like the higher side for my neck when I sleep (but I'm not that tall--5 ft. 3 in) and it is somewhat stiff, but that is probably because our room is kept pretty cold so it perhaps doesn't have the chance to warm up and soften. Although it's firm, it still cradles me well and, obviously, it's helping me sleep well--better than I have for half my life! I'm so thankful for this pillow!

I purchased this via Amazon on 12-04-18 and received it a week later. I wanted to wait to write a review after some time has passed, almost every review is based on when they receive it, not later. After 7 months, I have stopped using it sadly due to the fact it has flattened and now my neck is sore every morning I wake up. I thought I had read the foam would not wear down with time but alas, it was too good to be true. I had bought another orthopedic pillow from another competitor this past summer for my husband. He didn't like it so I placed it in the back of my closet. That pillow was to tall and hard for me (female 5 ft 6 in, side sleeper). I took it out and tried it out since these are on the expensive side and I needed relief. (That brand is horrible). I'm sad that this pillow wore out so soon. It makes me hesitate to purchase another one. It really is the most comfortable pillow I owned. It did relieve my neck pain on my first night using it. I told others about it in conversation. I hope they are still enjoying it. It never had an odor when I opened it, it's firm but not stiff, rock hard. I loved it. I'm now sleeping on a folded blanket until I can find something that last longer. I look forward to not having neck pain again and a good night sleep. Uuuugh, bummer.

I ordered this pillow a few years ago and have used it for a long time without issue. The older pillow that I have was finally starting to look a little worse for the wear, so I ordered a new one. The old pillow is an actual contoured, formed memory foam pillow. I ordered the same exact pillow and the new one that I got was just a bunch of shredded memory foam in the same pillow case. No contoured cervical pillow! I'd be willing to bet they just stuffed the pillow case with leftover memory foam scraps. I was very disappointed. I have read and reread the product description and it says nothing about the pillow being changed to just a sack of shredded memory foam. I guess at least I can put the new pillowcase on my old pillow now, but I'm still very disappointed. What a waste.

I Love this pillow!This pillow is just the right amount of firm. Not too hard, not too soft. Excellent quality! I was very excited when I received it and it did not let me down. There is a nice depression in the middle of the pillow perfect for cradling the head. It has really helped my neck pain/ back pain and I can sleep the whole night through, without having to prop my arm under the pillow. This pillow is very supportive and feels great sleeping on your back or side sleeping. Being high quality memory foam, It quickly conforms to the contour of my head. This pillow is great because it offers different levels of height, depending on if you are a larger or smaller framed person. Just turn the pillow around to adjust to the preferred height. I've been looking for quite some time for the perfect memory foam pillow that will alleviate my pain while providing just the right amount of support. All the other pillows I've wasted money on in the past sunk in too much, were too firm or just did not feel right. This pillow fits the bill and i will definitely be buying more these for family with similar back/neck pain issues. Highly recommended!!

I had high hopes for this pillow. Arthritis and inflammation in my neck have been causing headaches, neck pain, shoulder pain, and diminished neck mobility.This pillow is beautifully made. One side is thicker than the other, so you have options for the best fit for your body.On the shorter side, I loved this for side sleeping. The butterfly design made it snuggly to cozy up to.However, I switch from side to back throughout the night.This pillow does NOT HAVE an INDENTATION for the back of your head! It’s my bad that I missed that in the description.When sleeping on my back the pillow caused me pain. I planned on performing surgery. There is a removable cover, so it would be possible to carve out an indentation in the foam.Before I could butcher the job, my daughter, who sleeps on her side or front, asked to try it. She loves it! I suspect her review would be far more positive than mine.
