Coming from a Speed6 owner, the knob requires no programming. It's just a knob to turn the ignition. Speed6 has a keyless entry card, so as long as it's on you, it just turns. If you don't have the key card, or if the battery in the keycard is dead, or if the keycard is boned, you'll need to pop this out and use the actual key (stored in the keycard) to start the car. Can't be too sure about other Mazda models and keyfobs, but as it stands, this is just a knob, regardless.

Q: Is there some kind of explanation of how I make it work? I want it for my 2011 Mazda CX-7 but I don't know how to install it

It is very easy to install. In my car cx9 2009, there was one broken. Just removed it and placed the new one. Make sure to gently put it. In the key place, put it. If it didn't fit, change it's direction and it will fit. You use it as a push start button but it is not a push, it should be turned like any key to start the car.
