D·O·W·D·L·EDowdle Jigsaw Puzzle - Juneau - 500 Piece

This is by far our favorite brand of puzzle. All the pieces interlock, the box is very high quality, and the set also includes a small poster picture of the finished puzzle along with references to explain what each of the items in the drawing represent. They include so many details about the subject/city.We just took a cruise to Alaska and Juneau was a highlight for us. We saw humpback whales, orcas, and tons of bald eagles. As we were putting this puzzle together, we kept saying "oh look, here's ANOTHER eagle!" and it reminded us of how they kept appearing in real life for us in Juneau.These puzzles are also very nice because the level of detail makes them easy to place each piece in the right spot. You can study the piece and the picture and know exactly where it is going to go.

We have purchased many of Dowdle's jigsaw puzzles. They are colorful and the inserts in each puzzle are an enjoyable read. This puzzle however, was a disappointment. Yes, one missing piece but several pieces were bent and the precise interlocking that the other Dowdle puzzles we purchased all had, was also missing here. Maybe because the pieces appeared to be a bit thinner than the other puzzles?Regardless, we donate our jigsaw puzzles after we finish. Obviously, we cannot donate a puzzle with bent pieces or, a missing piece. Too bad.

Not crazy about this puzzle. The pieces can fit together multiple ways and it’s tough to figure out the correct fit causing the edges to line up. It’s weird and frustrating.

One missing piece. Meeting family for the first time. Was told she loved puzzles. This one was beautiful! And awesome packaging! Did it fairly quickly and one piece was missing. Very disappointing.

Extremely colorful. I framed it. Lots of memories from 1964.
