What a great beginner book for star / sky science!My 8 year old read it in one sitting and got so excited about all the zodiac signs.

The book offers a great summary of the history of western astrology and describes the 12 signs in great detail. The book is a great introduction into the world of Astrology and covers planets, constellations, and even gives some basic information on Chinese astrology. The book is written in a simple dummy's style format with colorful pictures. This book would be great for kids, as well as adults, who are interested in learning more about the basics of Astrology. It does not, however, mention anything about the birth chart or 12 houses.

I liked this book because it was a very easy read. This book is a good way to ease in to the world of astrology with no confusion. Anyone can understand it.

Fun book, easy and written well. Perfect for my 11 year old who has shown an interest in star signs.

Bought as a gift for a pupil who was fascinated with star signs but not a very confident reader, this was a nice accessible text for her that was set out well.
