This lightbulb is a great value. It's large, so make sure it will fit through the opening of your outdoor fixture, but once it's in, the lighting is fantastic, much better than that older CFL bulb I needed to replace. The way it's designed, the light is throw a good 50-60 feet in all directions, and even makes dark corner safer. I don't anticipate having to replace it any time soon - my light is on a sensor and turns on automatically at sundown, and the old CFL bulb lasted over ten years - but I highly recommend this LED version. The lighting is far superior, and if it last as long as the CFL, it's an outstanding value.

These light up great just have to watch what kind of light receptacle you have they want screw in one set of mine where they are flared out so much close to threads nice though

NICE. I originally purchased two units and put them in my double car garage and WOW these are nice and bright :) So recently I purchased four mor for outside lights.

Love this light. It is a little too bright for my living room, but I'm ok with it. It light up my whole room. My living room is 15x12 I believe, with only one window on one end. No ceiling light in my apartment. So it's pretty dark in here if the blinds are closed. I bought a cheap pendant light to add it to and it worked great. I will add pictures as soon as amazon stops glitching. I don't look directly to the ceiling so the brightness doesn't bother me. If it does to you I would put the bulb attached to a lamp or a pendant with a shade covering. It's such a white bright light. Not the annoying yellow ones. So it works great for pictures too. I believe this would work extremely well in a garage or front door lighting option. Anywho this bulb is great I can't wait to buy another one for my room lamp.

Will these be bright enough?Well that depends. Do you think to yourself when you enter the space you're thinking of using this in, "it would be great if this was lit up like high noon in the desert"?Then they might be too bright for your needs....Seriously. Bright.
