Mine was problem free
I guess I got lucky, I got one that's problem free.I'm just using it to see how ferrofluid behaves before buying a large quantity for a large research project.

The magnets pretty much crumbled
The magnets pretty much crumbled. Not sure how this was made. They are very powerful and when they snapped together they just fell apart. The ferrofluid itself was chunky and not like other ferrofluid I have purchased in the past. It pretty much just sits on my desk now without use.

Fun to play with
Looked cool in the picture. It may have been nice to have, but it was stained bad on one side when it arrived, and the other 3 sides got stained bad within a few min of use.Update- mine had a defect. I got a replacement and I love it. Company was nice about it and got it done quickly and were very nice about it.

The item ships on its side and the ferrofluid in the bottle arrived with a stain of ferrofluid on the side of the glass on the inside on a large portion of the glass making it unclean and also making it so the ferrofluid when used with a magnet sticks to the part that is stained with Ink or whatever therefore not creating the same affect you would see in the spikes

Not the best example of a ferrofluid toy
Recieved item and some of the liquid inside was stuck to the glass. Let it warm up, tried magnetizing it to mix it back with the ferro-blob but it wouldn't combine. Its like a stain on the inside. It works as described though

Wouldn’t recommend, here’s why:
Tons of little black particles in the bottle, magnets constantly forcefully move and don’t make the experience very fun.

Kids are having a ball with it
