1st edition not the 3rd edition
I must have been blinded by the price and missed the description information on this edition. I thought I was buying the 3rd edition, 3 book set, of this publication. My fault, it clearly says its Donald Tyson's edition. I'm not ot too dissapointed, its still a great deal. The book arrived in mint condition. Overall happy with the purchase, this edition has lots of foot notes for further reserch.

Three books of good information.
I have not finish the book, but so far it's good. I'm half way done with it. It has a lot of information about the occult. Plus the notes at the end of every chapter left by the author was a nice touch. I had to learn how to understand some old English words. Which the notes left by the author help, but some words I had to look up on my own to get a better understanding of it. Thanks google. Now I understand a lot of old English now. Which is not a bad thing. It's not really a type of book. If you're looking for a good story. It just explain certain stuff about the occult, and practice. Which is not a bad thing. It gives you the information, and you can look up more about it on your own. Thanks to the book. I was able to find other books, people, and history to look more in to.Good to add to the collection.

A good source for every ceremonial magician
Regardless of what the 1-2 star reviews say, especially about the first book (Natural Magic), this is a great book for the studious and dedicated ceremonial magician to have. Alongside Skinner’s Magician’s Tables, The Elucidation of Necromancy, and the Clavicus of Solomon.

Indispensable and High Quality.
Agrippa's books have been the go-to source for western esotericists for a long time. This is a good edition and far cheaper than it has any right to be, it shouldn't be a difficult buy at all.

Classic with solid bonding
Classic book, readable size font, soft paper that doesn't rip when riffled through for notes. The translation in general and all of the notes and appendices are indispensable. An classic for occultism, and even a good gift for academic family members who enjoy curiosities. Indispensable for the occult inclined, but also grounded and academic enough it can find it's place on most study's bookshelves.

Must Read For Any Serious Occultist
If you're tired of reading PDFs or you're just getting into this "Western Occult" business, you've gotta get this. This is a great version of this and includes everything from Agrippa's Three Books of Occult Philosophy, aka the FOUNDATION for this mess of Western Occult tradition that has inspired everything from the terribly grifty "New Age" The Secret type crap to Aleister Crowley's Thelema. Basically, if you want a firm foundation in Occultism, but this.

Great backstory and even better explanations of the translations.
Very interesting so far! The author who translates this has definitely done his homework and exhausted all his translations with a fine comb and even shows you this by his referancing of other literature and explanation of why he translates things a certain way.The back story is great as well. Really gives the book context. Without the back sotry you would lose a lot from the value this book provides.

Best Version
I wasn’t sure if I needed this book as I already had one version, the so- called uncensored and unabridged version. To anybody on the fence that already owns a different version and isn’t sure whether or not to go for this one too; GET THIS VERSION. Seriously, you will be glad that you did.
