Very difficult to properly assemble due to cheap (made in China) delicate parts. Once finally assembled, it was determined that the tail motor would only turn left so the fish would just spin in a tight circle. The sliding receiver that is mounted on the bottom of the fish is not as described. It is very difficult to open the delicate receiver to install the battery and there is no compartment for the weighting putty. Of course the instructions are inadequate and almost unreadable because of very large numbers placed over the description. There are decent instructions on U tube. There are no batteries supplied with the item so 4 AAA batteries must be purchased. Overall my grandson was very disappointed because the flight could not be controlled due to the malfunctioning tail motor. If the tail motor functioned properly, then even after all the other shortcomings, this item would be acceptable.

This shark is a novel idea and it closely replicated the swimming motion of real thing, the problem is it requires 5 cu.ft. of helium which cost $40.00 a pop for it to swim through the air and the helium only last less than a week in the shark which makes it expensive to operate. It’s also a bit tricky to assemble.

DO NOT BUY!!! Awful product. The instructions were for the shark not the fish. The attachments didn't work. There was putty to weight the front with instructions to put the putty in the mouth - the fish didn't have a mouth opening. I had big plans to use it in a kids theater show and it ended up being a ridiculously overpriced stationary balloon. If I could have easily deflated it I would have returned it. Very disappointing.

This thing is sooooo fun. A bit of work to assemble but a huge hit a a party, we did the shark before but this year we had kids 1-6. They loved it! It lasts awhile and can be reused/

The stickers to assmble the fish were stuck together & the wire didn't work. Had to refund will buy another one & hope it isn't broken like this one Update: The second one works great & in good condition!

This thing kind of sucked. All of the English text was very obviously poorly translated from another language, almost to the point of being unreadable. Even the instructions that I could follow were confusing. I ended up having to watch a YouTube video from another company to put it together. The box itself also had a bunch of typos, and called for four AA batteries, when in reality it needed four AAA batteries. It took forever to put together, and when I finally got it assembled, the tail motor only worked a quarter of the time I used the remote. The weight itself moved when I used the remote, but the tail was a hit or miss. The instructions also say you have to weigh down the balloon by placing a play-doh type putty in the “pod compartment,” but the pod compartment doesn’t exist. The instructions do not match the pieces, and the quality is horrendous. The only reason it gets 2 stars and not 1 is because of the joy I felt releasing a huge dumb shark balloon in my office for April Fools Day.

1/2 the assembly items were not in the kit. The directions had big numbers written over them so you could hardly read it. Quality of assembly was poor. Had to use scotch tape to do a make-shift version of directions (I had to look up on YouTube.) I ended up returning it because after all that work the tail didn’t work.

The product is great and the manual is quite detailed, but it was delivered to me with a hole in the balloon. I paid more than its price for helium has and it deflated in 15 minutes.
