I bought this item to fix a drain blockage in my A/C drain line. My A/C drain line leads into a larger pipe that is around 6-8in which was the one backing up. I tried using an auger I rented from Home Depot and also bought a snake camera but I could not fit the snake or my camera down the drain. Who would have thought a garden hose with a simple bladder attachment would clear my blockage. I hooked up this bladder to my garden house which was leading outside. Pro tip: use a small valve on the end of your garden hose to have control of the water instead of from the garden hose itself. If you are using this indoors this will prevent water from going everywhere once you turn on your hose from the main valve. Also another tip: you have to use the water spicket from outside because this will allow enough pressure to build up to inflate the bladder to work properly. Once I fitted this item inside the drain it inflated within seconds like a water balloon to seal the pipe and apply pressure to the main line. I let it run for around 2 minutes to ensure any blockage was cleared thoroughly. It worked perfectly, no more water backing up from the main line. Great product, I will use this method on other blocked drains in the future!

I spent $600 with a professional drain service trying to clean out my underground rain runoff pipe and they couldn't get it open. This little gadget, along with a hose, opened it up in five minutes. Easy to use, and highly recommended.

Waste of money

We had a clog in our pipes for about 1 month. I ordered hydrojetting, but when the service provider came put they said they should look with a camera. When the camera was put in the line, it turned down a pipe that didn't lead to the clog. So they said that hydrojetting wouldn't help & charged us $225. We got this bladder, attached to our garden hose & fed it up our cleanout pipe. In about 10 minutes or less the clog was broken up & the pipes were flowing. This can be used by putting down a shower or tub drain as well. If you have a drain with a cross bar, you will need an attachment. This was a God send!

This is a great addition to your tool box. If your a home owner or landlord it would save you a lot of money. Very simple to use… just add the water hose.
