Bought these as the sticky pad which came with my dashcam started to fail and lose its adhesion. only giving 3 stars as the pads themselves are ok but was bought to go with nextbase 622 which they claimed would be compatible but sadly they are not!The ones sent to me where too long & narrow for the base mount so went in the bin!

I bought these when after 1 year, my original 3M sticky started failing to hold my Nextbase dashcam in place properly. You get these 6 pads and ONE alcohol wipe and a single drywipe. I ended up using ALL the pads, having cleaned the glass properly etc and by the next morning the dashcam was hanging off. I kept trying, even allowing it time to "cure". I then gave up having tried with all 6 pads and replaced it with some cheap heavy duty clear double sided tape. Guess what? The dashcam is still in place. Now I'm starting to doubt if these are truly 3M products.... Avoid.

I had the dashcam fitted by Halfords and 13 months later it fell down, there was no bump or anything I was driving on a motorway and the dashcam fell so I ordered new ones and they don't work either so I'm using the suction holder that came with it

These stick very well—used them to secure a phone mount on the dash and it hasn’t budged. Good grip even in warm weather. Only downside is removal: leaves some residue and takes effort to clean off. Not reusable, but decent for a one-time fix.

Very very expensive for tiny pieces of adhesive. Used them to re-attach my dashcam front and rear when I changed my car. Easy to use but why are they so expensive?

There 3m so they stick!!!! Used on glass (windscreen) and also on fridge freezer to secure a Blink camera to it, yep it works!!! Just not sure how I'm going to get it off if I need too, yes, they really do stick.

I bought this to replace the pad that had been on my Scosche magic mount, and which after a few years had just unsticked. These arrive in a neat little plastic pouch together with alcohol wipes. After cleaning off the original pad, I stuck the 3M pad to the plastic scosche plate and left for a few hours. Then cleaned the dashboard area, left to dry and then peeled back the red tab on the pad and affixed it to the surface. Immediately it was evident that this is strong stuff.Left it for 48 hours to dry and then attached the magnetic plate and plonked my phone on it. It seemed pretty firm until, driving around the Yorkshire roads, hitting potholes and speed bumps. The pad peeled off the dashboard.So... my view on these pads are that they are useless for sticking to a dashboard. Any weight and it will eventually peel off. Might as well superglue them
