Edit: Still love the house, but it split. Need to get a new one.Bought one for my dad last Christmas and was worried about the negative reviews. So far, it is incredible. We love in Florida and the house has been outside the whole time with no issues from being in the sun. He has a small/medium sized garden of veggies (6 raised beds and 2 big tubs for potatoes) and this hose had made watering everything 1,000x easier for him (and me, when I'm there!). He uses the spray head it came with and some attachment it didn't come with so that he can just pull it off the spout coming out of the house instead of unscrewing it. It expands as advertised. Never have any problems with kinks, but he doesn't toss it around hoping it will work like magic. He holds it in loops to get to the end of the garden (50ft was just long enough), then drops it and drags it back to the front near the hose faucet where he empties it of water, takes it out of the wall, and loops it around the hose rack. It's super light, easy to maneuver and he loves it. I recently bought another one for the front of the house (mom's flowers) and still no problems. So then I bought one for me! No garden, yet, but I'm already planning one for my new place.

I don't normally write reviews, even when I am satisfied with the product (not fair; I know). The worst part is that I depend on reviews quite often when buying my own stuff (go figure). Anyway, that means that in order for me to be writing this review, you know that I am extremely satisfied with this item. It is everything they said it would be and much more than I expected. I had a regular 50ft hose on a hose caddy and it was cumbersome. My wife didn't like using it to wash off the dew from her car in the morning, because it was sooo heavy. This hose by Josy&co. is much lighter and it is very easy to manipulate on my hose caddy. What I especially love is that I can turn on the water and flip the switch to "stop" the water flow and the hose just expands until I get it into position. And when I turn the switch back to on, the water just flows. The texture of the hose is comfortable too. FIVE STARS for this hose!!!

I have now gone through four different (other company) expandable hoses - and each one lasted about two months. THIS hose is lasting, and I have waited to see if it would before writing this review. This is what I love about this hose: 1. The color is a dark green and doesn't stand out in your landscaping like the hideous orange, yellow and red ones do. 2. The fittings are brass and not plastic - meaning they'll most probably last much longer. 3. The sprayer that comes with it has really excellent various spray choices. 4. Even if I get it twisted, it doesn't stop the flow of water. 5. It is lasting longer than any other I've tried... and I've tried several. 6. It is SO easy to coil for storage and it is lightweight.So... this is the best I've found, and I am ordering another one for fear they won't keep it in stock and I don't want to be without it. My ONLY request is they also make this in a 25' length, because I want one for my small atrium area.

Great product. I've had it for a few weeks now. I like how little of it there is to put away. I like the color and multiple settings on the nozzle.I also love the length which allows me to water the plants in the front and back of the house using just one hose.I have no clue how to properly use the hook to store the hose so I just wrap it around the pipe connected to the house.Packaging and delivery of product met expectations.

Even if this lasts only a season - and I suspect it will be around for several years - it's worth every penny. Does not tangle, weighs almost nothing, provides plenty of water and water force....and - okay, I'll admit it, it's fun to watch it retract.UPDATE: Well, it's been - how long? And it already failed at the joint nearest the water supply, after I left it undrained (but with the water of) for a few hours in the cool shade. Revised 5 stars down to 1.

Perfect for my needs. Easy to use. Seems sturdy. I use the hanger included and hang it on the faucet pipe, out of direct sunlight.UPDATE - After less than a year the hose has sprung a leak. Contacted the manufacturer. 10 days later and still no response. Apparently a warranty is only as good as the company behind it.

I like this hose because its light weight easy to use, Im so tired of the regular hoses and I bought the kinking non kinking kind which means there is no such thing. I just dont understand why a regular 50ft is long enough and when I got one of these 50ft it was not reaching the same place in the yard. ???? May try to get another and connect.

I liked the hose pretty well, although it became more and more twisted with use. The sprayer that came with it was pretty good and useful. The hose burst near the faucet attachment point after one year. I have two other expandable hoses made by another company that I bought at Home Depot and they have not split. Both are older than this hose. Since it isn't available any more I guess the point is moot but I wouldn't buy another.
