As a black woman with natural Afro textured hair, that I straighten quite a bit, I will say that I appreciate this product so much. I have been using it for YEARS and it always delivers. It holds my edges down (with a silk scarf) and adds a nice sheen without a white residue. With any product, if you use it all the time it will eventually build up however when you use it with an oil based product (hair grease) you will ward off build up for a little while. Did I mention this smells delicious!?! Get it, you won’t be disappointed.

I stopped using this paste and so glad I started again, provides the hold and shine I need and doesn’t leave hair feeling dry or crunchy. Smell is nice too.

Much better than previous edge control. I love that it’s not super sticky like others yet still gets the job done. Also smells good. Will definitely repurchase.

Overall its ok and does what it says however I will stick with the blueberry bliss control paste. It was out of stock and I needed something for my daughter's hair so I gave this a try, will not do that again.It smells good, it does lay her hair nicely, but it is sooo sticky and tacky and it leaves a whitish residue on her scalp. The blueberry bliss dries down enough that it is not tacky and there is ZERO residue. From now on I will always be fully stocked on blueberry bliss so I do not have to scrambled for an alternative. Disappointed since it's from the same company, figured it can't be too far off.... but boy was I wrong. So happy to be back to using our regular control paste!!

To give this product less than 5 stars wouldn't be fair. So plyable, beautiful scent. Not sticky at all, and lays my hair so well even tho it's frizzy, and excellent for braiding and protective styles too. Love it
