I finally just completed the construction of the bed. I rating it 3 stars because I felt the instructions were a little difficult to understand at times. Its not in order. Diagrams are separate from written instructions. A friend of mine gave me a hand and had the same opinion. I had many left over screws that were sent, so much that I thought I did something incorrectly. In the end it did turn out great and its very sturdy. I would recommend this to anyone who has a little extra time to work on a small project. Cost wise: its excellent! In addition to the instructions + fasteners the lumber and stain were another $120. A loft style bed like this at most furniture stores are minimum $700.
