Quality product
Nice hefty piece of stainless covering an strong magnet. Too soon judge if knife removal dulls the knives. Too soon to tell if there is potential for difficulty cleaning. I don't anticipate any problems because it seems like a quality product. It holds my biggest knives easily. Good instructions for safety and installing. I used my own screws because I needed a flat head machine screw and nut/washer combination to mount on a thin plywood wall. That worked well. The mounting plate comes with a counter-sunk hole so that plate attaches smoothly to the magnet inside the stainless steel cover. Screws that were supplied are for dry wall or a solid piece of wood.

Cheap junk! You might expect there to be a solid magnet, but there is not. There are two brittle magnets held together by some resin. The one i purchased completely broke apart after I took the magnet bar off the mounting plate.

Very Disappointed
Cheap, it is just pieces of magnets glue together. Tape was used to hold the magnet inside the medal.
