It works great. Easy install. My wish though is that the mounting flange was a bit wider so that the screw holes were farther away from the inside edge. If the hole you make is any bigger then 6”, you may have just erased any chance of using the pre-drilled holes. I was lucky, but I can see people messing this up.

It worked okay for what I needed but the design could be better. The flange screw holes are too close to the edge of the sheetrock and if you’re not careful you can break it out. The flange lip should be wider. It should also be designed so it can be surface or flush mounted. In my case the Honeywell hose didn’t fit but it worked out since I needed to pull it through the flange and through the wall for proper venting. A little weather stripping tape sealed it up nicely and I siliconed it to the wall for strength. Looks much better than the window vent route. Don’t make it one size but design it for specific hose sizes and I think you’ll have a winner product.

Great idea so you don’t have to put your ac through the window. Comes with a cap for closing it up during the winter.

The flange should be attached to the 6.5" side of the fitting and then reduce to the 6" side. If it was designed that way, then you could easily attach a 6" duct and the keep the fitting flush with the wall. With the current design there is no way to attach pipe to vent outside and it protrudes 3 inches from the wall. I ended up cutting off the mounting flange with a saw. I cut a hole in the wall tight around the 6.5" end and was able to metal tape a 6" duct outside through the wall. I caulked around the pipe and it worked out well. The air conditioner pipe doesn't thread in all that easy, but it will go with some work. There are not many fittings like this available is the only reason I bought it. It's over priced.

Worked perfect for my stand alone AC unit with the exhaust coming out the house also came with cap when the winter comes I screw cap on seal it off.

This is a awesome easy to install 6 in portable Ac inside wall connector with screw on plug when not in use .comes with hardware to connect to sheetrock and easy to install . The portable ac vert screws right in and stays in place and when you want to remove ac then unscrew ac vent and screw in plug to keep the hole covered and secure Unit is very durable and made of thick plastic material . Very happy with my purchase

Excellent wall mount (not window mount) for my portable air conditioner. I wish it was made of something other than plastic. Very expensive for what it’s made of but it did the trick!

Installed our portable AC through the wall and this works great. Will seal it up and use to cap to close off in winter.

Found this on Amazon and it is perfect for my cottage. I vented my portable AC through the floor. Put it down, traced the hoke, cut it out and put some window screen to keep bugs out. What is great is no need to work outside on the side of the building. The hose screws on counterclockwise, take your time it works. At first I thought it was the wrong size.
