As a longtime fan of shibari and kinbaku, who hosts frequent events that attract a lot of rope players, I make it a point to have good, dependable gear in place. I have a couple of these, a triskele ring, and a lot of other rigging gear to help support play in our space as I’ve done here, and at prior venues, for decades.These are *solid* professional pieces of rigging hardware. Absolutely no sign of weakness, stress fractures, faults from casting or machining, etc. beautiful, hefty, and functional.These monkey paws are dependable, durable hardware that will last the rest of my life and probably 100 more years after. Nicely spaced large holes for rigging, absolutely great. I doubt it’s possible to be disappointed in them.

We have several of these rigging plates in service for our technical rescue units. After trying one in the field, we standardized all of our life safety and technical kits with Lixadas. They are rated at 45 kN no matter what direction the load is applied. If we ever put more additional kits in service, this is the rigging plate we will most likely buy again.
