Too many little parts that could be lost
Nice that it's stainless, but that little bitty nut at the end can be easily misplaced, rendering the item virtually useless. As most parrot owners know, little nuts, screws, etc. are easily lost, especially if a parrot decides to unscrew this thing in his cage, good luck finding this tiny nut somewhere in the bottom of the cage.

Bottom can be unscrewed by parrot.
I like this skewer, but the bottom attachment is just a thick washer and screw. My Blue Crown had loosened this and the whole think fell apart and came crashing down to bottom of cage. He got a good scare. I prefer the skewer with the loop on the bottom that fully attaches and is not as easy to remove. It's safer.
