It has a slight sting, but lays down a good seal over nicks and minor cuts. I like to use it on my cut nails to keep them from ragging up again.

Not as flexible as new skin but it dries quicker

Best brand of its kind. Can't find it in local stores anymore. :(

Be prepared for pain. This product does a great job at keeping small cuts from being irritated while it heals.I think that what it does is pull all the screams and pain out of your soul/cut and seals them away in another dimension.I use it on hangnails that I rip that bleed. (nerves)or if I cut myself while cutting a vegetable or something. It's good for these things.But you must be ready.I tried to help my girlfriend with a razor cut on her leg.I explained how painful this would be.Like the burning of a million deaths for eternity. But packed into about 15-30 seconds.She was NOT ready.I was only able to apply a quick swipe up the cut when she screamed in horrific pain.She told me to stop stop stop stop!It was too late.I told her she had to breathe and get through it. It will pass.She exclaimed how she thought I was just "being a baby" when I told her about the pain.She thought wrong.We didn't continue with the skin shield so she had to deal with a bleeding leg wound the rest of the night.Again this product is great at stopping cuts from bleeding.But you'll have to be able to handle the immense pain that comes along with it.

I use this product to paint areas of my feet that are in too much contact with a new pair of shoes to prevent or heal temporary friction blisters. I wouldn't travel without it. Also great for paper cuts and for minor surface burns.
