I’m in a mid century home and had a really hard time finding the original manufacturer for my slider latch. This one is really well machined and fits perfectly in the recess of my ancient one. Didn’t have to redrill anything

The door latch broke on our older patio door and a worker at the home improvement store said they didn't have a latch that old and asked if we had checked on Amazon. We went home, checked on Amazon, ordered the latch, received it the next day and installed it in a few minutes. It did take a couple of tries to get it on the right way since the person installing it was clueless (me) but it turned out to be a quick fix.

This is a good product but check to make sure the latch on your door frame matches where the hook on this thing is. Older houses have the latch on the high side, this one was not correct for that. But again, perfect for most people I'm sure.

Our lock was broke on a 30 year old sliding glass door. Took a chance and this worked great and makes it brand new again! Also bought the matching handle! Thank you!

I love the door lock it works perfectly I bought this to replace the original 1 which was no longer locking and then I have another 1 from the store which didn't lock for some weird reason no matter what lock it was if you pulled it hard enough the door was on lock, but not this 1 this 1 the doors locked I feel safe and I can sleep at night thank you
