Came across a utube video warning of holes in bags - decided to check - and shocked to find it was true - this means food would have not lasted and I would never have known!!!!

Inexpensive and worth having for peace of mind. I also buy canned foods since they easily last for years- expiration dates on cans are BS.

The plastic bucket that contains the food is sturdy and I like the fact that it is easily stackable. Also, the square shape fits spaces better than a round container. The food itself is packaged well and while I have tried all the different recipes, I anticipate it will be like most camping dried food components. Unfortunately, one of the food packages had a small hole in it and some of the contents spilled out. So this was the first thing we tested. One thing that I wish was available for easy review: total calorie count. There is a total serving for the whole container but not total calories. You have to assess each package individually and then calculate the total.

and being free of "all harm" but really... ...how hard is it to add up all the calories and stick it on the box as an aggregate box count? Okay, I admit to getting 4 of these buckets, partly because of the intrigue, and partly because for some reason, my area is not serviced very well by Amazon. Also there is that of diversification, if you only chose Legacy, Wise or any other, what if you don't like that particular brand? Best case, within the next 25 years, we all have to eat these buckets (I'll be surprised if not the next three). Just wondering though, With all the good reviews, why is it so hard to put an aggregate calorie number on the NuManna boxes?

This is an outstanding product. Everything you need in case of emergency and they put all the great kinds of food together!
